Needed a room close to Capitol Hill and very convenient off the freeway and to where we wanted to go. Restaurants also close by. Easy to get Ubers. Staff was friendly. Hotel was quiet. Good breakfast. All in all a good stay for the money.

Very comfortable and clean, excellent location for walking, lots of people running/walking near water across the street. The breakfast area is very cozy, good selection, fireplace on, windows - the kind of place you might choose for breakfast, even if you weren't staying there. Personal note from manager!

Boy oh boy the silver cloud is nice there on lake Union. It's expensive, and parking is expensive, but the location is great the room is nice. I got one of the suites with the top it was the second time I had the same room it's extremely nice. There aren't many hot tubs in hotel rooms in Seattle or Portland it's one of the few. It was definitely pimped out I felt like a king. 👑

There's about a half dozen Silver Cloud Hotels here in Seattle and another in Portland. Here in Seattle there seems to be nowhere in the city that isn't close to one. The front desk staff goes out of their way to help you or get whatever you want. Bus, rail and taxi service are all close by and fast. There's also a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. And a 55" TV in the room was great for movies and was a really easy setup for casting my phone to the screen. It took less than a minute to set up and after that, just a single function on my phone each time. Being a pig, my favorite part was the daily breakfast buffet. Magnificent! Several large gathering areas with fireplaces burning and great views of the lake across the street.

All the staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic with many options. including a huge waffle station. Walkable to Fred Hutchinson. It was quiet and a great value. Have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our stay.

Updated lobby. No pool currently. Overall my stay was nice. The breakfast area is huge and it doubles as a library with fireplace that’s always open. There’s also a balcony just off of that room with tables and chairs. We Stayed two nights. Got a good deal using the hotel tonight app. Parking is around $30 or you can park on the street behind. Parking on the street is free after 6pm and all day Sunday. As with any major city don’t leave anything valuable in your car if you’re worried about smash and grabs. There’s private security that patrols the street so I wasn’t too worried about it. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night and it was very quiet both nights. There aren’t and bars or clubs nearby that I could see or hear. Would stay again.

All our family enjoyed our stay in this hotel! Wonderful, cozy and clean. Comfortable beds, pillows, good quality shampoo, body wash and conditioner. The breakfast that was included was just amazing!
